Booking Your
Service

All appointments are made exclusively online through our booking portal. We do not accept Walk-ins. Please contact us or put yourself on the waitlist for next available and Roots will reach out.

A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation. Payment is collected in person at the conclusion of your service.

Gift card holders are still required to place a credit card on file. Your gift card will be applied at checkout.

We are a private, one-on-one experience. Please contact us directly for inquiries about simultaneous bookings as our second suite becomes available.

Reserve Your Ritual

Before Your Visit

I. Arrive Early

Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in and to ease into the experience.

II. Hair Preparation

For the best results, we recommend arriving with unwashed, fully detangled hair. This allows our treatments to penetrate and perform at their highest level.

III. Comfort & Attire

We recommend arriving without jewelry or heavy makeup for your comfort and ease throughout the duration of your service.

IV. Facility Guidelines

Minors are not permitted in the facility unless meeting our Minor Policy requirements. Pets are not permitted in the lounge at any time.

  • To fully support the tranquility of your ritual, we kindly ask that clients remain quiet and settled during their service. This space is yours — let it hold you.
  • Please silence your mobile device prior to the start of your treatment. Your notifications will wait.
  • Our practitioners are fully focused on your experience — feel free to communicate any preferences, sensitivities, or comfort adjustments at any time.
After Your Experience

Finishing Your
Ritual

  • A blow dryer is available in your suite for use within your allotted service time. Please communicate your drying preferences to your practitioner at the start of your appointment so we can maintain the flow and timing of your ritual.
  • If your service does not include a blow dry, feel free to add it on at the time of booking. A Blow Out add-on is also available for guests who wish to leave with their hair professionally styled.
  • Payment is accepted by card or cash at the front desk. Gratuity may be left by card or cash and is always deeply appreciated.

Cancellation, Rescheduling
& No-Shows

All cancellations and rescheduling requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment time — regardless of the reason. Your contact information is your responsibility. Appointment reminders are a courtesy, not a guarantee of notice.

Full Price Applies

All applicable fees will be charged to the credit card on file. Roots Head Spa + Wellness Lounge is unable to guarantee service for guests arriving more than 15 minutes after their scheduled start time.

Hair Care

Prepared hair.
Perfect results.

A complimentary light detangling session of up to 3–4 minutes is included with every Roots ritual. For guests with straight, curly, tightly coiled, or significantly tangled hair, our practitioners are happy to assist with initial preparation within this time window.

Should additional detangling time be needed, your service will proceed as scheduled — meaning hair may remain partially detangled in order to preserve the flow and integrity of your full ritual experience.

For the best possible results, we recommend arriving with fully detangled hair, or booking our Extra Detangling add-on service in advance. Please note: in cases of severely matted or unmanageable hair, we reserve the right to discontinue the service, which will be charged in full. Thank you for helping us maintain a smooth and tranquil environment for every guest.

Pregnancy, Minors
& Accessibility

Pregnancy Policy

Expecting
Guests

  • Head spa services are generally considered safe during pregnancy and we warmly welcome expecting guests.
  • We are unable to accommodate guests who are more than 26 weeks (6 months) pregnant.
  • Guests who are comfortable lying down for 50–75 minutes and are able to sign a waiver prior to service are welcome to receive our treatments.
  • Please notify us of your pregnancy at the time of booking so we may prepare appropriately for your visit.
Minor Policy

Younger
Guests

  • Guests under 12 years of age are not accepted for any head spa service.
  • Guests aged 12 and older may receive services provided a parent or legal guardian is present for the entirety of the appointment.
  • Valid identification may be required. Roots Head Spa reserves the right to decline service if age cannot be confirmed or if a required guardian is not present.
Gift Cards

All gift card sales are final. Refunds are not available for eGift Cards or physical Gift Cards. Corrections to miswritten email addresses may be accommodated upon request.

Gift card value does not expire and is redeemable at all Roots Head Spa + Wellness Lounge locations.

Gift cards are valid toward services only. They may not be applied to retail products, gratuity, or redeemed for cash value.

Gift card holders are required to maintain a valid credit card on file at the time of booking. The gift card will be applied at the time of checkout.

Lost & Found

Lost or Forgotten Belongings

Roots Head Spa + Wellness Lounge is not responsible for lost or forgotten personal belongings left on the premises. We encourage all guests to secure their valuables prior to the start of their service and to perform a personal check before departing.
