Roots was born from a family partnership — two brothers with active careers at the highest levels of global finance and enterprise strategy to build something with real purpose. After founding Bellazio Collective Salon Suites and watching the health and beauty community they created come to life in Matawan, NJ, they noticed a gap: people were searching for exceptional head spa services and not finding them. So they built exactly that.
In the middle of building the brand, one of our founders received a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Rather than step back, we pressed forward — and that experience profoundly shaped what Roots is and will become.
The lessons learned about the relationship between treatment, recovery, and the health of your scalp, skin, and body are now embedded into the Roots Rituals: our signature approach to scalp and wellness care that goes deeper than a typical spa visit. Real care. Real restoration. Every time.
We also believe wellness has no gender. Roots is designed for everyone — including men navigating thinning hair, scalp concerns, or the effects of daily stress who deserve a space built around their care just as much as anyone else.
Since opening in February 2026, the response from our community has exceeded everything we imagined. Within just two months, demand at our Matawan location grew so quickly we expanded to a second suite. We are just getting started.
